Factorio is an upcoming indie video game by Wube Software. It is scheduled to be released in 2015 for Microsoft Windows, OS X and Linux
The game has been developed by a team of developers from Prague since mid 2012. The team originally consisted of one developer but has grown to six. To fund the game, they started an Indiegogo campaign, which started on 31 January 2013 and finished on 3 March 2013. Rewards for backers included access to the alpha release, votes for development polls, additional scenarios, digital wallpapers, meeting with the developers and having their name included in the credits or game content. The campaign raised €21,626 of the €17,000 goal
Factorio is a game in which you build and maintain factories.You will be mining resources, researching technologies, building infrastructure, automating production and fighting enemies. Use your imagination to design your factory, combine simple elements into ingenious structures, apply management skills to keep it working and finally protect it from the creatures who don't really like you.
